Short summary:
One of a series of case study films produced for an awards ceremony which celebrates the innovative use of ICT in education.
Every year, Becta runs an awards scheme to celebrate the achievements of teachers up and down the country who are finding innovative ways of using ICT to make teaching and learning more engaging and effective.
The awards scheme runs across fifteen or so categories and can feature winners from any part of the UK. In order to capture the best practice of the winners in each category, Becta commissions a video case study of each winner.
Each film features the teachers talking about how they have achieved the results that won them the award. The films are then shown at the awards ceremony and encoded for the internet – over the years, this has allowed Becta to build up an invaluable library of best practice resources that continue to inspire other teachers to try new approaches.
